At 18:15 Rescue 34 responded to the Route 22/ Route 119 intersection on a 2-Vehicle Accident involving a passenger vehicle & tractor trailer. Crews extricated the operator of the passenger vehicle by removing 2 doors and 2 posts. The tractor trailer travelled 100 feet over an embankment into a creek. This afternoon Rescue 34 operated in 71's District on a fire that consumed a lawn tractor, pickup truck and part of a mobile home. The lawn tractor initially caught fire, and spread to the truck and home. The crew assisted with ventilation and overhaul. After clearing the fire, the crew responded back into town, where a tractor trailer pulled down several series of wires on Roosevelt Way, resulting in a power outage & street closure into the evening.
